Enrolment Information

At Mountview, we are a full primary school catering to students from Year 0 to Year 8. If your child is turning five or beginning their school journey, visit our 'Starting School' page for more information.

Mountview also offers Rumaki classes, which provide full immersion in Te Reo Māori. Specific criteria apply for enrolment. If you’re interested in learning more about Rumaki click here.

To enroll with Mountivew you must complete the enrolment form and email a copy of the following to info@mountview.school.nz. Alternatively, you can bring the original document to the office to be copied.

  • Two forms of proof of address with parents and/or legal caregivers names attached, these must two of the following: current power bill, tenancy agreement or rates bill.  The utilities documentation cannot be older than one month. One form of address must be an original, not a screenshot from the internet. 

  • NZ Citizens: An original or certified copy of the student’s Birth Certificate or Passport.

  • Other Citizens: The student’s Birth Certificate, Passport and parent/caregiver’s Passport and the current visa pages of both parent and student

  • Immunisation certificate (new entrance only)

  • A copy of any Court Order Documents (if applicable)

Uniform

Mountview has a compulsory School Uniform which is available from Brandfuel 

32 Oruanui Street.

Kids Can Jackets (free of charge) available from the office once your child has started school.

Students also need to bring a hat to school in Terms 1 and 4 as per our sun smart policy.

Stationery

Premade stationery packs are available from the school office. Eftpos, Cash or internet banking is available.
